We have been very active in building the church in La Source, a remote village on the island of La Gonave. Our trips include activites such as reconstruction on houses and buildings, medical clinics, church services, children's outreach through VBS, and spreading the gospel throughout the village. 	Haiti is the poorest country in the Western hemisphere. It is about the size of Maryland and shares the island of Hispaniola with the Dominican Republic. Voodoo is practiced by 50 - 80% of the population. There is less than 50% literacy rate. The capital is Port Au Prince. Creole and French are the official languages.iv Tag Goes Here
